Feng Hsin Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 30,865.647 million compared to TWD 24,741.937 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3,335.672 million compared to TWD 3,033.481 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,942.415 million compared to TWD 2,724.957 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 5.06 compared to TWD 4.69 a year ago.
Feng Hsin Steel Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of steel products. The products of the Company include angle steel, channel steel, steel flats, steel bars, special steel, bar steel, steel rods, formed steel and other steel products, among others. Its formed steel products are applied in construction industry, factory buildings, shipbuilding, transmission and distribution towers, machinery manufacturing, automobile maintenance and lifting equipment, transportation, metal products industry and steel structure, among others. The reinforcement bars are mainly used in construction, civil engineering, structure, foundation and others. Bar steel products are mainly used in screw nuts, polished bars, hand tools, auto parts and others. The Company mainly sells its products in Taiwan and other regions.
