Feng Tay Enterprises Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 18,056.388 million compared to TWD 15,638.939 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2,091.374 million compared to TWD 1,790.965 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,638.801 million compared to TWD 1,416.420 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.23 compared to TWD 1.93 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 34,968.605 million compared to TWD 30,471.778 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 4,019.700 million compared to TWD 2,961.448 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3,114.935 million compared to TWD 2,179.235 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.24 compared to TWD 2.97 a year ago.
Feng Tay Enterprises Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture of sports shoes. The Company is also engaged in the research and development and manufacture of casual shoes, skating shoes, snow boots, snowboarding boots, bicycle shoes, helmets and equipment for golf balls and footballs, baseball shoes, shoe parts and components and shoe molds, as well as the wholesales of daily goods. The Company operates through two segments. The Shoes Manufacturing and Trading segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of sports shoes. Others segment is mainly engaged in investment holding and goods retailing. The Company operates businesses in Americas, Europe and Asia, among others.
