British estate agent Foxtons posts marginal rise in annual profit

(Reuters) - Britain's Foxtons Group posted a marginal rise in its annual profit on Tuesday, as resilience in its lettings business helped the estate agency offset subdued activity in the property sales division.

Foxtons, London's largest lettings agent, said its adjusted operating profit from continuing operations for the year ended Dec. 31 came in at 14.3 million pounds ($18.12 million), compared with 13.9 million pounds a year earlier.
