Franklin BSP Capital Corp is an externally managed, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Company’s investment objective is to generate both current income capital and capital appreciation through debt and equity investments. The Company invests primarily in first and second lien senior secured loans, and to a lesser extent, mezzanine loans, unsecured loans and equity of predominantly private United States middle market companies. The Company also may purchase interests in loans or corporate bonds through secondary market transactions. The Company invests in various sectors, including software/services, healthcare, paper and packaging, media/entertainment, business services, energy, transportation, food and beverage, industrials, chemicals, utilities, consumer, telecom, education, and retail. The Company is managed by Franklin BSP Capital Adviser L.L.C.
