Marudai Food Co., Ltd. (TSE:2288) agreed to acquire Toraku Foods Co.,Ltd. from Fuji Oil Holdings Inc. (TSE:2607) for ¥1.2 billion on May 12, 2020. As per the terms of the transaction, 0.01 million shares are being acquired. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval.
The deal is expected to close on July 1, 2020. Frontier Management Inc. (TSE:7038) acted as financial advisor to Fuji Oil Holdings Inc. in the transaction.
