G5 Entertainment AB (publ) reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 343.5 million compared to SEK 337 million a year ago. Net loss was SEK 2.59 million compared to net income of SEK 40.21 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.31 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of SEK 4.67 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.31 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of SEK 4.67 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was SEK 676.57 million compared to SEK 663.57 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 47.28 million compared to SEK 93.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 5.5 compared to SEK 10.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 5.5 compared to SEK 10.93 a year ago.
G5 Entertainment publ AB is a Sweden-based developer and publisher of downloadable casual and free-to-play games for smartphones and tablets. The Company offers a range of game genres, such as Adventure & Hidden object and Strategy & Time management. Its product portfolio comprises two types of games: Free-to-play, providing The Secret Society, Virtual City, and Doomsday Preppers, among others, that are games based on a pay as you go model; and Unlockable, which supplies a try before you buy game model, included in Special Enquiry Detail, Supermarket Mania, as well as Stand OâFood.
