GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of JPY 12,558 million compared to JPY 10,028 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 3,269 million compared to JPY 2,153 million a year ago. Profit before income taxes was JPY 3,180 million compared to JPY 1,977 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,962 million or JPY 53.27 per share compared to JPY 1,357 million or JPY 36.54 per share a year ago. Cash flows from operating activities were JPY 3,816 million compared to JPY 2,008 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 35.392 million compared to JPY 29.994 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was JPY 538.256 million compared to JPY 585.062 million a year ago.
For the year ending September 30, 2018, the company expects consolidated revenue of JPY 26,107 million, operating profit of JPY 6,475 million, profit before income taxes of JPY 6,196 million and profit attributable to owners of the company of JPY 3,933 million or JPY 105.87 per share.
For the year ending September 30, 2018, the company expects to pay a dividend of JPY 49 per share compared to JPY 49 per share paid a year ago.
