Gold Fields Ltd. on Thursday reported a 1% fall in third-quarter production and backed its full-year guidance.

The South African mining company produced 597,000 ounces of attributable gold equivalent for the quarter compared with 606,000 ounces for the same quarter last year and 621,000 ounces in the second quarter.

For 2022, the company expects attributable gold equivalent production, excluding Asanko, of between 2.25 million ounces and 2.29 million ounces.

Including Asanko, attributable gold-equivalent production is expected to be between 2.31 million ounces and 2.36 million ounces.

All-in sustaining costs, excluding Asanko, are expected to be between $1,140/oz and $1,180/oz.
