Goodcen Co., Ltd. (XKON:A243870) intends to acquire the remaining 49% stake in MICROPOLIS Co., Ltd. from Myungjun Kim on September 16, 2019. Under the term, Goodcen will acquire 0.11 million shares of MICROPOLIS. Post completion, MICROPOLIS will dissolve and Goodcen will be the surviving entity. As of December 31, 2018, MICROPOLIS reported total assets of KRW 3.9 billion, negative total capital of KRW 1.1 billion, revenue of KRW 1.1 billion, operating profit of KRW 170.54 million and net income of KRW 12.33 million. The transaction was resolved by the board of directors on September 16, 2019. Merger agreement will be sign on September 18, 2019. The shareholder's confirmation will come on October 1, 2019. The transaction is expected close on November 19, 2019.
