Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 30,003.725 million compared to MXN 14,778.374 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 3,314.616 million compared to MXN 294.507 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 2,672.806 million compared to net loss of MXN 49.272 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 1.18 compared to basic loss per share of MXN 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was MXN 56,902.290 million compared to MXN 38,795.254 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 5,379.577 million compared to MXN 2,492.460 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 4,623.436 million compared to MXN 2,064.664 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 2.04 compared to MXN 0.91 a year ago.
