Seguros Catalana Occidente will be taking part in the 10th Expoelectric exhibition, one of the largest electric vehicle events in southern Europe, which will take place on 20 and 21 November next to the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona. With this collaboration, the company maintains its commitment to the environment and sustainable mobility.

At the event, which this year is presented under the slogan "Enchúfate, ven y disfruta del vehículo eléctrico" (Plug in, come and enjoy driving an electric vehicle) the insurer Grupo Catalana Occidente will have a stand so that visitors can find out all the details and new features about their Hybrid and electric car insurance.

Furthermore, in its effort to make the advantages of the zero emissions vehicle known to the public, the company will be collaborating in informative activities such as e-seminars, sessions starring experts from the automotive sector in which the benefits of sustainable mobility will be analysed. During these meetings, attendees will be able to resolve their doubts about electric and hybrid cars.

In addition, in order for the youngest children to enjoy the day, Seguros Catalana Occidente will be offering their families a Scalextric to enjoy a pleasant, relaxed and fun time.

Seguros Catalana Occidente's Director of Car Insurance, Rafael Moyano, commented that "it is essential to support initiatives such as Expoelectric, as they work to promote sustainable mobility among people." Pioneers in insurance for electric cars

Seguros Catalana Occidente has sponsored Expoelectric since the first edition in 2011 with the aim of bringing zero emissions vehicle and renewable energies closer to the public. Furthermore, the insurer was one of the pioneers in launching a product specialised in this field into the market.

In this regard, some of the specific provisions of the electric and hybrid car insurance that have recently been incorporated include roadside assistance with electric tow trucks and help to locate nearby charging points. It also has a guarantee that covers the damages of both the charging cable and the individual charging station, among other cover.
