ESG Highlights

• Numerous programs and initiatives have been pushed forward by Grupo México to help communities face the COVID-19 pandemic in all regions where we operate. So far, the percentage of employees with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines is 87% for the Mining Division, 69% for the Transportation Division and 74% for the Infrastructure Division.
• The Ministry of Energy and Mines approved the semi-detailed Environmental Impact Study for the exploration Project of Michiquillay in Peru.
• The Mexican Mining Chamber acknowledged La Caridad mine, refinery and metallurgical plants for achieving the best safety performances in their respective categories in 2020.
• Grupo México reaffirms its commitment to preserving and improving the environment by generating a net positive impact on biodiversity through our Mining operations.
• The government of Sonora recognized Grupo México for being a "Culturally Responsible Company" for our volunteer initiatives implemented to promote and safeguard the state's history, culture and traditions.
