Alpha Instrumatics broadens the range of environmental process monitoring technologies within Halma's Environmental & Analysis sector. Its products can withstand harsh environments.
Benefits include:
- Broad range of applications: A wide variety of compressed dry air applications, with examples including lithium-ion battery and semi-conductor manufacturing, are used to protect the environment and people.
- Protecting aerospace testing environments: Devices can measure moisture in spacecraft testing facilities. These sites are used to simulate environments for the safe launch of spacecraft.
- Supporting fuel cells: Fuel cells convert chemical energy into electricity. High-precision measurement helps to balance humidity levels in feed gas.
The initial cash consideration for Alpha Instrumatics is £31m, on a cash- and debt-free basis, which will be funded from Halma's existing facilities. Additional earn-out considerations are payable in cash, based on its performance over each of the two financial years to
