Haydale, (AIM: HAYD), the global advanced materials group, is pleased to announce that, further to its announcement on 9th September with reference to its graphene nano-platelets (GNPs) being incorporated into iCraft's cosmetic face mask sheet, a further contract has been signed which makes Haydale the sole distributor of iCraft's GNP enhanced, anti-bacterial, neoprene PPE face masks.

The sole distributor agreement covers the UK and Europe and has been signed for an initial 6-month period which will be extended upon achieving sales targets. The masks will be available for sale from January, 2021.

These PPE face masks have been developed by iCraft using Haydale's GNPs and have achieved antibacterial activity of 99.9%. In addition, the mask has a 3D stereoscopic design, enhancing the fit to the face shape. It shows further benefits such as body temperature control, deodorisation and antistatic, whilst being a lightweight and breathable fabric. It has been proven to maintain these properties for up to 10 washes.

The masks are available in 3 colours and sizes range from infant to XL.

Derek Yoon, iCraft, General Manager, said: 'iCRAFT has worked with Haydale to develop graphene products and bring them to the Korean & Asian markets. As the need for a Facemask increased due to 'Covid-19', a mask with high stability was developed. This high-quality, graphene-enhanced mask has been developed and we are cooperating with Haydale as our exclusive distributor for the UK and Europe. The 'G+ (Graphene plus)' branded mask has passed the test and certification of Korean and internationally recognised organisations. We ensure the stability of production capacity and quality, and are confident that Europeans will be satisfied.'

Keith Broadbent, Haydale CEO, said: 'There is an increased global requirement for PPE facemasks and we are proud to be the exclusive supplier of GNPs for this high-performance mask designed by iCraft. Working as sole UK and EU distributor for the iCraft PPE masks, we expect this to be a great addition to Haydale's commercial offering.'
