Healthcare Services Group Appoints as President Effective Jan. 1, 2022

Dana Frese has been named president of Healthcare Services Group, effective Jan. 1, 2022. HSG is the management company for Jefferson City-based professional and general liability insurance companies Missouri Hospital Plan and Medical Liability Alliance. Frese currently serves its as executive vice president for claims and general counsel, and interim director for risk management and patient safety. Prior to joining HSG in 2011, Frese served as its outside general counsel as a shareholder with Carson & Coil. He also is a past president of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
Healthcare Services Group, Inc. provides management, administrative and operating services to the housekeeping, laundry, linen, facility maintenance and dietary service departments of healthcare facilities, including nursing homes, retirement complexes, rehabilitation centers and hospitals located throughout the United States. The Company's segments include housekeeping, laundry, linen and other services (Housekeeping), and dietary department services (Dietary). Housekeeping segment manages its customers housekeeping departments, which are responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing of resident rooms and common areas of the customers facilities, as well as the laundering and processing of the bed linens and other assorted linen items. Dietary segment manages its customers dietary departments, which are responsible for food purchasing, meal preparation and professional dietitian services that include the development of menus that meet the dietary needs of residents.
