Alecta has published relevant information on their website: Alecta comments on Finansinspektionens report to the Swedish Prosecutor

Our comments based on information at hand:

  • The issue appears to involve potential breaches of law or Alecta's internal rules by one or more persons that may also constitute a legal offense. Alecta has engaged two external law firms to review this matter and on the basis thereof, the Board of Alecta concluded not to pursue a case.
  • This matter does not directly affect Heimstaden Bostad AB or Heimstaden AB - nor does it relate to improper conduct by any of these companies or its employees.
  • We have a zero-tolerance for any form of corruption as enforced through our Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy.

We are taking the situation seriously and will assist relevant authorities upon their request.
