Carlyle Peru Fund, L.P. and Carlyle South America Partners, L.P., managed by The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) agreed to acquire 85.42% stake in Hermes Transporte Blindados S.A. from Inversiones Centenario S.A.A., The Bank of Nova Scotia and a partial stake from the Wiese and De Osma family groups.

Carlyle Peru Fund, L.P. and Carlyle South America Partners, L.P., managed by The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) agreed to acquire 85.42% stake in Hermes Transporte Blindados S.A. from Inversiones Centenario S.A.A. (BVL:INVCENC1), Scotiabank Perú S.A.A. (BVL:SCOTIAC1) and a partial stake from Grupo Wiese and De Osma family groups on August 14, 2015. Equity capital for the transaction is being provided by Carlyle Peru Fund and Carlyle South America Buyout Fund. The transaction is expected to close in later part of August 2015.

Creditcorp Capital provided PEN 301.5 million for the acquisition of Hermes Transporte Blindados S.A. Todd Crider of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP acted as legal advisor to The Carlyle Group. CAPIA acted as financial advisor for Carlyle. Javier Zavala, Julio Chion and Federico Navas of LXG Capital acted as financial advisor to Grupo Wiese and Inversiones Centenario.

Guillermo Ferrero and Ignacio López de Romaña of Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría acted as legal advisor to Inversiones Centenario. Diego Carrion and Sandro Cogorno of Hernandez & Cia acted as legal advisor to Carlyle Group L.P.
