Fortune Electric Co., Ltd. (TWSE:1519) entered into a termination joint venture agreement to acquire 60% shares of Hitachi Fortune Transformer Inc from Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE:6501) on March 28, 2019. After completing the transfer, Hitachi Fortune Transformer, Inc was renamed as Fortune Electric Extra High Voltage Co., Ltd on June 24, 2019.

FORTUNE ELECTRIC CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of transformers. The Company provides transformers, distribution boards, power distribution equipment and other electrical products. The Company's products are applied in electric power distribution and transmission. The Company is also engaged in the provision of electron mechanical project contracting services, as well as the sales of electricity through renewable energy. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets.
