Hong Yi Fiber Ind. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 435.173 million compared to TWD 606.711 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 19.608 million compared to TWD 54.612 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 50.911 million compared to TWD 75.687 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.38 compared to TWD 0.57 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,460.273 million compared to TWD 1,610.675 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 130.049 million compared to TWD 152.486 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 138.013 million compared to TWD 164.861 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.04 compared to TWD 1.24 a year ago.
HONG YI FIBER IND. CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and marketing of textured polyester yarns. The products of the Company include ultra-fine finished fiber yarns, full-dull yarns, colorful three tone yarns, environmental friendly finished yarns and yarns for layered cloth.
