Hope, Inc. provided consolidated earnings forecast for the period ending September 2023 and for the full year ending March 31, 2024. For the period ending September 2023, the company expects net sales were JPY 1,138 million. Operating profit were JPY 47 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent were JPY 33 million. Basic earnings per share were JPY 2.01.
For the full year ending March 31, 2024, the company expects net sales were JPY 2,473 million. Operating profit were JPY 225 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent were JPY 160 million. Basic earnings per share were JPY 9.76.
Hope Inc is a Japan-based company engaged in advertising, energy and media businesses. The Company operates through three business segments. Energy segment offers GENEWAT, an electricity retail service that helps local governments reduce costs. Advertising segment offers two kinds of services. The smart resource (SR) service purchases advertising space in various media such as homepages owned by local governments, public relations papers, salary statements distributed to public employees, and envelopes and sells them to private companies. The smart creation (SC) service, in the form of collaborative issuance with local governments, recruits advertisers to produce information booklets for residents and donates the booklets to local governments. Media segment utilizes the relationships with local governments cultivated in the advertising business to provide business to government (BtoG) marketing services, Jichitai Works, and Jichitai Works HA x SH information distribution platform.
