Confirmation by the Board of Directors of the Appointment of new VP-Division Head of HI Group Internal Audit

Background/Description of the Disclosure

In compliance with the disclosure requirements of the Exchange, our Company hereby informs the PSE that the Board of Directors of the Company has confirmed the appointment of Atty. Victoria T. Tomelden as HI VP-Division Head of HI Group Internal Audit during its Board of Directors' meeting on May 19, 2022 Atty. Victoria "Vicky" Tomelden is a CPA-Lawyer by profession. She also holds the CIA certification since 2012, a globally accepted and recognized license for the practice of internal auditing. She was the VP and Chief Audit Executive (CAE) of Holcim Philippines, Inc. (HPI) for 10 years. Prior to her appointment as CAE, she was the company's Corporate Legal Counsel handling various disputes/cases involving corporate, civil, labor, criminal and tax. Before becoming a lawyer, Atty. Tomelden was a Financial Analyst and an External Auditor. In 2018, Atty. Tomelden was elected as member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines (IIA-P) and has been actively serving the institute since then. Currently, she is the BOT Chairperson of the Governance Committee of IIA-P.
