Hsin Tai Gas Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 579.838 million compared to TWD 613.508 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 123.204 million compared to TWD 131.323 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 102.761 million compared to TWD 111.446 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.76 compared to TWD 0.83 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,261.127 million compared to TWD 1,164.844 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 236.266 million compared to TWD 175.518 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 183.485 million compared to TWD 156.473 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.36 compared to TWD 1.16 a year ago.
Hsin Tai Gas Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the provision and distribution of natural gases, as well as the installation of gas pipelines. The Company provides natural gases mainly to families, government organizations and other areas. Its natural gases are mainly provided by China National Petroleum Corporation. The Company also engages in the installation of gas pipelines and gas safety equipment, installation and dismantling of gas meters, and provision of other after-sales services. The Company mainly operates its business in New Taipei City.
