Hwa Fong Rubber Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,198.87 million compared to TWD 1,342.94 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 121.84 million compared to TWD 139.92 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 0.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 0.5 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 3,493.64 million compared to TWD 4,149.03 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 301.81 million compared to TWD 280.21 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to TWD 1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to TWD 1 a year ago.
Hwa Fong Rubber Ind Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing, distribution and trading of tires and other rubber products. The Company provides bicycle tires, agricultural and industrial tires, motorcycle tires, truck tires, automobile tires, radial tires and other rubber products. Its tire products are applied in sedans, recreational and leisure vehicles, heavy trucks, trailers, grass mowers, forklifts, as well as bicycles and monocycles. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan market and to Mainland China, the Americas, Thailand and other markets.
