- Donates blood donation certificates and 10 million won to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation

- Delivered 2,132 blood donation certificates and 52,9 million won to 15 children over 13 years

Hyundai Elevator delivered blood donation certificates and donations of 10 million won contributed by its executives and employees to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation (KCLF) for the treatment of children with leukemia on December 14.

Hyundai Elevator has been operating a social contribution fund since 2009 to 'fulfill corporate social responsibility and foster local talent.' The company has raised financial resources through a Matching Grant program, donating the same amount of donations to the 'change deduction fund' accumulated by executives and employees by deducting the amount less than 1,000 won from their monthly salary.

Seon-won Seo, Secretary General of the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, remarked, "Hyundai Elevator's continued sponsorship helped children undergoing treatment live with a beam of hope after passing through a long tunnel of darkness."

Hyundai Elevator has been sponsoring children with leukemia for 13 years since 2011 with the voluntary participation of its staff, delivering 2,132 blood donation certificates and 52.9 million won in donations to 15 child patients.

CEO Jae-cheon Cho said, "While our support may be small, we hope there will be a virtuous cycle of children fighting illness will recover like Superman, grow up strong, and deliver hope to those in need again."
