- Staff donates over 1,700 items of clothing, dolls, and books, as well as 3 million won in contributions for building a workplace for disabled people

- "Significant as it is not just a simple donation, but all the staff put their hearts together… Will conduct the campaign annually and strengthen the company's ESG management."

Hyundai Elevator held a donation ceremony for the company wide ESG campaign 'Hyundai: Re' on December 21 at the Chungju Smart Campus, Seoul office, and regional branches together with Goodwill Store from October 10 to December 1.

In the two-month-long campaign conducted as part of ESG management to circulate resources, create jobs for disabled people, and revitalize the local economy, the company staff donated 1,721 items, including clothes, dolls, books, sports goods, and electronic devices. Donated items will be on resale at Goodwill Store, a store employing disabled people, after sorting.

At the donation ceremony held at the Hyundai Group building (Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu) with the attendance of Hyundai Elevator CSO Yongwoon Lee and Byoungwook An, responsible for business management at Hyundai Elevator and Goodwill Store's Director Sang-wook Han and Manager Jeong-yeol Park, 3 million won in 'Contribution for the establishing a workplace for the disabled' was also delivered along with donated goods.

CSO Yong-woon Lee said, "The campaign was even more meaningful as it went beyond a monetary donation and gathered the hearts of all the staff to provide some help in creating jobs for disabled people." Hyundai Elevator plans to make the 'Hyundai: RE' campaign annual and strengthen ESG management by practicing various activities such as energy-saving campaigns and biodiversity conservation.

Goodwill Store encourages resource circulation by accepting donations of resaleable items from individuals and organizations. It creates jobs by providing employment for disabled people when selecting and reorganizing them and returning them to society.
