IID, Inc. (TSE:6038) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 150,000 shares, representing 2.99% of its total shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares), for a total of ¥150 million. The purpose of repurchase program is to return profits to shareholders and to implement a flexible capital policy that responds to changes in the business environment.
The repurchase program is valid till July 31, 2023. As of May 31, 2023, the company had 5,015,562 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and had 47,038 shares in treasury.
IID, Inc is a Japan-based company principally engaged in news Website operation and marketing research business. The Company operates in two business segments. Content Marketing Platform (CMP) segment operates 52 Website media & content and five magazines covering 20 genres, mainly news Websites, for seven industries such as automobiles and related products. Content Marketing Solutions (CMS) segment is mainly involved in the provision of two solutions: research solutions and e-commerce (EC) solutions. Research solutions provide large-scale quantitative surveys and qualitative surveys for individual consumers. EC Solutions develops the business centering on the provision of marbleASP, the original EC system.
