Infosys Ltd. on Wednesday said it will expand its Canadian workforce with plans to bring 500 jobs to Calgary over the next three years, adding it would double its Canadian workforce to 4,000 employees by 2023.

Ravi Kumar, President of Infosys, said "Calgary is a natural next step as part of our Canadian expansion and represents a significant and promising market for Infosys."

The company also said it plans to hire tech talent from fourteen educational institutions across Canada, including the University of Calgary, University of Alberta and Waterloo.

Infosys provides digital services and consulting services.
