ING Bank Slaski S.A. Announces Earnings Results for Second Quarter and Six Months of 2016

ING Bank Slaski S.A. announced earnings results for second quarter and six months of 2016. For the quarter, the company reported total income of PLN 981.4 million, profit before tax of PLN 414.8 million, net profit of PLN 344.6 million, ROA of 1.1%, ROE of 11.2%, compared to the total income of PLN 1,152.4 million, profit before tax of PLN 524.9 million, net profit of PLN 406.9 million, ROA of 1.07%, ROE of 11.4%, for the same quarter a year ago.
For the year to date, the company reported total income of PLN 1,887.4 million, profit before tax of PLN 740.9 million, net profit of PLN 605.6 million, ROA of 1.1%, ROE of 11.2%, compared to the total income of PLN 2,128 million, profit before tax of PLN 862.3 million, net profit of PLN 666.1 million, ROA of 1.07%, ROE of 11.4%, for the same period a year ago.
ING Bank Slaski SA is a Poland-based commercial Bank. The Bank divides its business into two segments: Retail Banking segment and Corporate Banking segment. Its offer includes currents accounts, savings, credits and loans credit and paying cards, insurances, electronic banking, broker activities and fund management and other activities connected with finance, insurance and pension funds. As of December 31, 2012, the Bankâs subsidiaries and affiliated entities were ING Securities SA, Centrum Banku Slaskiego Sp. z o.o., ING ABL Polska SA, ING Uslugi dla Biznesu SA, Solver Sp. z o.o. and ING Powszechte Towarzystwo Emerytalne SA. The Bankâs major shareholder was ING Bank NV, with a 75% stake of its capital.
