The Columbus, Ohio-based company said it had net income of $2.29 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.72 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.53 per share.

The residential insulation installer posted revenue of $720.7 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $689.3 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $243.7 million, or $8.61 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.78 billion.
