MOSCOW, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Russian state energy company Inter RAO expects Kazakhstan to become the largest market for Russian electricity supplies in 2023, Interfax news agency reported on Friday, citing the company's representative.

Inter RAO plans to supply around 5 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity to Kazakhstan in 2023, the company's representative said.

The company also expects China to become its second largest market in terms of supplies volumes this year. Inter RAO has reduced exports to China by 21% in the first eight months of 2023, the company's representative said. (Reporting by Reuters)
