Ionics, Inc. announced the election of Mr. Medel T. Nera as independent director of the company and its subsidiaries Ionics EMS, Inc. and Ionics Precision, Inc. to replace the late Ms. Amelia B. Cabal, who passed away this year and to serve as such for the remainder of her term. Mr. Nera was formerly a Senior Partner of Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. and most recently was the President and CEO of House of Investments, Inc.
Ionics, Inc. is a Philippines-based holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in product design and electronics manufacturing, precision-engineered plastic injection molding, core-technology venture capital investment, property holdings and management.
