JAIC Co.,Ltd. (TSE:7073) agreed to acquire a 80% stake in Kakedas,inc from Shunsuke Shibukawa and others for ¥0.21 million on July 19, 2022. Upon completion, JAIC will own an 80% stake and make it a subsidiary. The Kakedas had net assets of ¥ 356 million, total assets of ¥ 414 million, sales of ¥ 20 million, operating profit of ¥ -53 million and net profit of ¥ -57 million, for the year ended October 2021. The transaction is expected to close on August 1, 2022. The impact of transaction on the JAIC's consolidated financial results for the current fiscal year will be minor and it will contribute to the business results for the fiscal year ending January 20, 2024 and beyond.
JAIC Co.,Ltd is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in education-integrated recruitment services. The college business is engaged in the provision of education-integrated human resource introduction services and educational opportunities for SMEs with less than 300 employees. The Company is also engaged in the provision of a wide range of detailed education and training services including Job College service, Women's College service, Second College service, New College service, Leader College service, Seven Habits training service, Harada Method training service, Discovery training service, and new employee training Basics of Work services.
