Japan Airlines - Due to restrictions on the number of flights between Japan and mainland China caused by the impact of the new coronavirus infection, we had been operating only flights from Shanghai to Japan on our Shanghai route. In response to the recent easing of restrictions, we have decided to resume flights from Narita to Shanghai (Pudong) on November 10, 2022.

We will continue to plan the resumption of these routes in a flexible manner by increasing the number of flights and developing other mainland China routes, while monitoring immigration restrictions, the quarantine system, and demand.

*Sales of Thursday flights will begin around 2:00 p.m.(Japan time) on November 7 for the November-December period and around 2:00 p.m. on November 10 for the January-March period. We are currently in the process of applying to the Chinese authorities to add an additional weekly round-trip flight, pending approval.

Please note that the JL876 Shanghai-Narita on Saturdays will be cancelled from November 19, due to the flight limitation imposed by the Chinese authorities in conjunction with the above-mentioned flight increase. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to customers with reservations, and we will inform them of the transfer to the new flights mentioned above in order.

Thank you for your understanding.
