Jung Shing Wire Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,003.58 million compared to TWD 1,295.74 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 30.87 million compared to TWD 65.12 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.21 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,941.11 million compared to TWD 2,329.23 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 60.35 million compared to TWD 132.06 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.41 compared to TWD 0.92 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.4 compared to TWD 0.92 a year ago.
