Sports Desk, May 24 (EFE).- Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, who spent last season on loan at his former team Tottenham Hotspur, has been included in Wales' provisional 28-man squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 soccer championships, coach Robert Page said on Monday.

Juventus midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, who has struggled to hold down a starting place since he moved to Turin from Arsenal in 2019, has also been named in the squad.

The Welsh national team will hold a training camp this week in Portugal's Algarve before confirming the final 26 players that will play in the tournament.

Several players will miss the camp due to commitments with their clubs, including Manchester United's Daniel James who will travel to Gdansk for the Europa League final against Villarreal on Wednesday, while Ben Cabango and Connor Roberts, both of Swansea City, will play against Brentford in the Championship playoff final on 29 May.

Newport County's Josh Sheehan and Tom King will not participate in the camp as their team will play in the League Two promotion playoff final against Morecambe on 21 May.

The squad is as follows:
