K2 Inc. (NYSE:KTO) announced today that it plans to voluntarily withdraw its securities from listing on NYSE Arca, Inc., formerly the Pacific Exchange. K2's securities will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

K2 has decided to voluntarily withdraw its listing from NYSE Arca in order to eliminate the duplicative administrative requirements inherent in the dual listings resulting from the NYSE Group's recent merger with Archipelago Holdings, the parent company of NYSE Arca.

K2 said it did not believe that withdrawing its listing would have an adverse effect on the liquidity of its stock. NYSE Arca will continue trading K2 securities on an unlisted trading privilege basis.
