Kazakhstan Waste Recycling officially opened its renovated offices and began operating new waste paper pressing equipment on Saturday, November 29th, in Almaty.

Kazakhstan Waste Recycling is a subsidiary of the industrial holding company Kazakhstan Kagazy. It is a leader in the collection and sorting of waste paper in Kazakhstan and a pioneer in the collection and sorting of other recyclable materials.

The opening ceremony began with a speech by Victoria Gorobtsova, the General Director of Kazakhstan Waste Recycling, who thanked the team for their patience, hard work and loyalty. Ms Gorobtsova noted that the launching of new equipment is the start of a new period of productivity in the company's history and will allow it to enter into new recyclable materials markets.

Notably, the new office opening corresponded with the visit of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Kagazy PLC, Sir Tony Baldry. He offered his congratulations to company employees for this significant event and cut the red ribbon. At the conclusion of the opening ceremony, the senior managers of the company started up the new pressing equipment.
