Kelsian Group Limited advises that its wholly owned subsidiary, Curtis Island Assets Pty Ltd. ("Curtis Island Assets") has entered into a new 10-year ferry services contract with Shell and Santos for marine transport services at Gladstone. This follows the recent award of a new 10-year contract for marine transport services in Gladstone with ConocoPhillips. The award of both new marine services contracts for the SeaLink operations in Gladstone, each for a 10-year term following
competitive tender processes, secures combined total estimated contract revenue of approximately $216 million over the 10-year contract terms and includes a commitment to build one new vessel for servicing the ConocoPhillips contract. Curtis Island Assets has been engaged by QCLNG Operating Company Pty Ltd. and GLNG CompanyPty Ltd. as agent for the GLNG Participants (namely Santos GLNG Pty Ltd; PAPL (Downstream) Pty Ltd;TOTAL GLNG A stralia and KGLNG Liquefaction Pty Ltd) ("Shell Santos") to provide passenger ferry and roll-on roll-off ("RoRo") barge services for GLNG and QCLNG Midstream LNG operations facilities on Curtis Island ("Shell Santos Contract"). The Shell Santos Contract secures the retention and use of existing passenger ferry vessels and one RoRo vessel for a 10-year term commencing December 2022. SeaLink Gladstone has operated these marine services under the previous contract for Shell
Santos since 2015. ConocoPhillips Australia Operations Pty Ltd. ("ConocoPhillips") is the Downstream Operator of Australia Pacific Liquified Natural Gas (APLNG) operating the APLNG Facility on Curtis Island. APLNG is a joint venture consisting of Origin Energy (37.5%), ConocoPhillips Australia (37.5%) and Sinopec (25%). s Island Assets has been engaged by ConocoPhillips under the ConocoPhillips Contract for the provision of passenger ferry services from November 2022 between Fisherman's Landing Northern Expansion and APLNG Curtis Island and will initially utilise two existing passenger ferries to deliver the services. Kelsian has committed during the contract term to build one new passenger ferry vessel to replace one of the existing vessels for this contract. SeaLink Gladstone has operated services for ConocoPhillips under previous contracts since 2016.
