Kesko is the leading Finnish services provider in the distribution sector (marketing services, logistic services and supplying management). The group also develops wholesale and retail sale activity. Sales break down by sector as follows:

- food (51.5%; Kesko Foods; No.1 in Finland): owned 1,257 supermarkets and stores under the K-citymarket, K-supermarket, K-market names etc.;

- home improvement, DIY and gardening, and consumer products (40.4%): building materials, interior design materials, gardening products, household appliances, furniture, sports equipment, clothes, etc. distributed via 529 outlets primarily under the K-rauta, Byggmakker, Senukai, OMA and Intersport names;

- automotive (8.1%): cars (Volkswagen, Audi and Seat brands), spare parts and original accessories marketed through 16 outlets under the K-Auto (42) and AutoCarrera (3) names.

Finland accounts for 78.2% of net sales.
