Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. shuffled a number of its executives around ahead of current Finance Chief Ozan Dokmecioglu's transition to chief executive on July 29, when current CEO Bob Gamgort is expected to become executive chairman.

Derek Hopkins, who currently serves as president of cold beverages, has decided to leave the company at the end of the year to pursue family and personal interests, the company said. He is expected to continue to serve in an advisory role in 2023.

Keurig said it would separate Mr. Hopkins's current role into two: president of commercial and president of cold beverages. The company has launched an external search for a new president of cold beverages, and expects to fill the role before the year ends.

Andrew Archambault, who currently serves as customer chief, has been promoted to the role of president of commercial, effective Aug. 1, and would become a member of the executive leadership team. Mr. Archambault is expected to continue to lead sales planning and execution for national and regional accounts, with the additional responsibility for fountain foodservice and revenue growth management, the company said.

Mauricio Leyva, who joined Keurig in 2020 and currently serves as president of coffee, will assume an expanded role as group president, effective Aug. 1. Mr. Leyva is expected to continue to lead coffee and add responsibility for the international businesses, previously led by Mr. Dokmecioglu, as well as the continued evolution of the digitalization of the company.

Additionally, David Thomas, who has been with Keurig and its predecessor companies since 2006 and currently serves as chief research and development officer, will be retiring from the company upon the naming of his successor. An external search is underway, the company said.

Keurig also said George Lagoudakis, who currently serves as senior vice president of finance for cold beverages, is expected to serve as interim finance chief of the company, when Mr. Dokmecioglu transitions to CEO later this month.
