Key Ware Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 407.343 million compared to TWD 291.218 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 20.766 million compared to TWD 4.753 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 19.548 million compared to TWD 15.977 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.09 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.11 compared to TWD 0.09 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 768.187 million compared to TWD 565.250 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 33.135 million compared to TWD 7.172 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 25.455 million compared to TWD 23.345 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include drill bits ranging from 0.075 millimeter to 6.5 millimeters. These products are mainly used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs), such as flexible circuit boards, hard single-sided circuit boards, hard double-sided boards, aluminum substrates and integrated circuit boards. The Company is also engaged in the provision of value-added services related to the manufacturing of drill bits. The Company mainly operates through two business segments: drill bits business segment and trading business segment. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets, including the Americas, Europe and other Asian markets.
