Key Ware Electronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 350.9 million compared to TWD 407.34 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 33.98 million compared to net income of TWD 19.55 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.18 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.18 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.1 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 734.25 million compared to TWD 768.19 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 52.75 million compared to net income of TWD 25.46 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.28 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.14 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.28 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.14 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include drill bits ranging from 0.075 millimeter to 6.5 millimeters. These products are mainly used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs), such as flexible circuit boards, hard single-sided circuit boards, hard double-sided boards, aluminum substrates and integrated circuit boards. The Company is also engaged in the provision of value-added services related to the manufacturing of drill bits. The Company mainly operates through two business segments: drill bits business segment and trading business segment. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets, including the Americas, Europe and other Asian markets.
