NanoCarrier Co., Ltd. (TSE:4571) agreed to acquire 5.23% stake in Gene Techno Science Co.,Ltd. (TSE:4584) from Noritsu Koki Bio Holdings LLC for ¥1.2 billion on April 9, 2018. NanoCarrier Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.5 million shares of Gene Techno Science Co.,Ltd. under a business and capital alliance plan. In a related transaction as part of the business and capital alliance plan, Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd. will acquire 1.5 million new shares of NanoCarrier Co., Ltd. through a private placement. The transaction is expected to complete on April 27, 2018.
