Kimberly-Clark de México, S. A. B. de C. V. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year 2017. For the quarter, the company’s sales amounted to MXN 9.4 billion, a 1% increase versus the fourth quarter of 2016. Operating profit was down 9% versus the fourth quarter of 2016. The company generated MXN 2.2 billion of EBITDA, a 7% decrease. Net income was MXN 1.1 billion, a 10% reduction over last year. Earnings per share were MXN 0.35. For the year 2017, CapEx was about $100 million, mainly invested in capacity, product improvement and cost-reduction projects.
