Kudremuck Iron Ore Limited (also known as KIOCL), an iron ore mining and pelletization company owned by India's Ministry of Steel, has tapped TrueConf Server as its on-premises 4K video conferencing platform, according to a press release.

KIOCL leverages the software to support secure collaboration tools, including video calls and team messaging, for a work force of more than 1,000 employees spread across a head office in Bengaluru, a pelletization plant in Mangaluru, and an iron ore mine in Kudremukh.

The company partnered with integrator Techser Power Solutions Pvt Ltd to implement the system, which supports hybrid and online collaboration options along with data encryption and security.

"In today's digital world, it is important for large companies to implement easily scalable and at the same time reliable IT systems, while we must take into account a number of features — integration with existing IT services and hardware as well as providing communication security and privacy. For KIOCL, we've chosen TrueConf Server [which] addresses these needs, offering a comprehensive platform for high-quality video conferencing and instant messaging," K.M. Raghuraj, spokesperson for Techser Power Solutions Pvt Ltd., said in the release.

"The solution has become a reliable tool for conducting daily online meetings, and its functionality satisfies the needs of the enterprise."
