KIP Real Estate Investment Trust announced appointment of MADAM ONG PUI SHAN as Chief Executive Officer. Date of change is April 5, 2023. Age is 35.

Qualification includes Master of Science in Marketing from University of West of England and Bachelor of Arts from University of Melbourne. Working experience and occupation: 2022 - Present Madam Ong Pui Shan, Valerie was redesignated as Executive Director on 18/08/2022. Her role is to develop and execute business strategies of KIP REIT in order to attain the goals of the Board of Directors, stakeholders and act in the best interest of unitholders of KIP REIT.

To ensure KIP REIT's continued performance and growth, Valerie oversees the implementation of comprehensive business plans prepared by the Executive Management (including budgeting approval and financial matters) so as to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities. In addition, she formulates the business and operation plan via proactive asset management including Asset Enhancement Initiatives and tenancy mix to maximize valuation and rental income respectively. 2018 -August 2022 Valerie vas appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of KIP REIT on 30/11/2018.

Her role is to ensure corporate accountability by providing unbiased and independent views as well as contributing her knowledge and experience towards the corporate decision making process. 2012 - July 2022 Valerie joined KIP Group of Companies in 2012 and was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer in 2017 as well as serving as the Director of Corporate Operations, as the bridge between the divisions within the group. KIP Group of Companies comprises property development (residential, commercial, shopping malls), retail management of KIPMalls as well as hospitality as KIP Hotel.

On the group level, she directs the company's goals and vision, partnering with high-level officers to grow and strengthen the company's position in the industry and to ensure its sustainability. 2011 - 2012 She served as the Marketing and Branding Manager in Summit Holidays (travel agency) and was responsible for the promotion and strategies set to establish and grow the brand presence in the market by developing and improving products and services.
