Haze Shoji Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 40% stake in Koa Shoji Holdings Co.,Ltd. (TSE:9273) from Toshiyuki Shudo on November 13, 2019. As per the transaction, Haze Shoji Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 3.96 million shares. Post completion, Toshiyuki Shudo will hold 2.53 million shares representing 25.58% stake of Koa Shoji Holdings Co.,Ltd. Transaction is planned to complete on November 13, 2019.

KOA SHOJI HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is engaged in purchasing and sales of drug substance, manufacturing, purchasing and sales of pharmaceuticals, including medical prescription drugs and general pharmaceutical products, as well as contract manufacturing of formulation of pharmaceuticals. The Company operates through two business segments. The pharmaceutical manufacturing and sales business is engaged in development, manufacturing, contract manufacturing and sales of generic injection, oral preparation and external preparation. The drug substance sales business is engaged in import and export of generic drug raw materials, as well as introducing and supply of pharmaceutical raw materials and preparations.
