Kumho Tire Co., Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 41,082 million compared to KRW 20,685 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 69,990.23 million compared to net income of KRW 23,132.92 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 248 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 81 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 248 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 81 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 170,796 million compared to KRW 50,799 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 97,609.79 million compared to KRW 108,806.69 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 344 compared to KRW 379 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 344 compared to KRW 379 a year ago.
Kumho Tire Co Inc is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of tires. The Company manufactures and sells tires for passenger cars, sports utility vehicles (SUVs), recreational vehicles (RVs), trucks, buses, racing cars. The products are sold under the name of SOLUS series, ECSTA series, ecowing series, SENSE series, WinTERCRAFT, among others. In addition, the Company also engaged in the non-residential building leasing. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets such as China, Vietnam and America.
