Kyocera : Kunihiko Ueki newly appointed as President of KYOCERA Europe GmbH Europe Corporate Organization Changes

Kyoto/London − Effective 1st December 2022, Kunihiko Ueki has been appointed as the new European President of KYOCERA Europe GmbH located in Esslingen near Stuttgart. Mr. Ueki will be responsible for all of the company's operations in Europe; covering eight of the company's product divisions including LCDs, printing devices, kitchen products, automotive components, technical ceramics, industrial tools, microelectronics and chemical products. KYOCERA Europe GmbH (former KYOCERA Fineceramics GmbH) was founded in 1991 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KYOCERA Corporation - headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
Ueki started his career with Kyocera in 1992 in the Corporate Ceramics Materials Semiconductor Components Group, where he held several managerial positions in Japan and in Europe. He was dispatched three times to Europe and stayed in Germany for several years in the past 30 years.
Mr. Ueki will replace the previous President, Mr. Yusuke Mizukami, who returned to KYOCERA Corporation Japan and held the position since 2020. In his function as newly appointed President of KYOCERA Europe GmbH, Mr. Ueki will be responsible for around 1.500 employees in eight sales- and manufacturing companies all around Europe (KYOCERA Europe GmbH, Germany; KYOCERA Fineceramics Ltd., United Kingdom; KYOCERA Fineceramics S.A.S., France; KYOCERA Fineceramics Italy S.r.l., Italy; KYOCERA Automotive & Industrial Solutions GmbH, Germany; KYOCERA Unimerco Tooling A/S, Denmark; KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH (Mannheim and Selb/Germany) and will take care of the production, development and sales of innovative products serving for a more efficient, easier and safer life.
