SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korean battery and petrochemicals maker LG Chem has not yet been hit by Japan's export curbs, it said on Tuesday, but was doing "scenario planning" to cope with potential fallout from a diplomatic row between the neighbours.
Chairman and Chief Executive Shin Hak Cheol made the comment at a news briefing.
Japan's new restrictions on high-tech exports have hit South Korean chipmakers, as the row over forced wartime labour escalates between the two key U.S. allies.
